Nella classe MXGP Alberto Forato ottiene due ottime prestazioni: in gara uno non riesce a ripetere la partenza del sabato ma dopo poche curve so porta a ridosso delle prime posizioni, e approfittando della  caduta di un altro pilota ottiene la terza posizione, riuscendo a gestirla per tutta la gara e a chiudere terzo alla bandiera a scacchi. In gara due ancora una volta la partenza non è delle migliori, e dopo pochi giri Alberto si trova in quinta posizione. A pochi giri dalla fine subisce un sorpasso, ma grazie a una sbavatura di un altro pilota a un giro dal termine termina comunque in quinta posizione.

Alberto termina in quarta posizione di giornata, a pari punti con il terzo.

Una ottima prestazione per il pilota veneto che è pronto per affrontare insieme al team SM ACTION l’ultima tappa di mondiale MXGP in previsione per la prossima settimana a Matterley Basin.

ITALIAN GP, FORATO MATCHES THE PODIUM

MAGGIORA (NO) – The historic ‘Mottaccio del Balmone’ track hosts the eighteenth and penultimate stage of the MXGP world championship.

Present for the SM ACTION YUASA BATTERY, in addition to Alberto Forato in the MXGP class, there are also Luca Ruffini and Federico Tuani, both in MX2.

As often seen this year, Saturday was characterized by rain, which made the track very difficult. Federico Tuani showed off his skills already in the qualifying race where he was sixteenth at the checkered flag, while Ruffini finished in twenty-third position.

The amazing performance, however, was that of Alberto Forato. After an excellent start in third position Alberto begins to attack with his head down until he takes the lead of the race, and maintains the lead of the group by winning the qualifying race with a five-second gap on his pursuers. A great performance by Alberto that demonstrates his qualities.

On Sunday, the rain abandons the scene and gives way to the sun.

Starting from MX2, good performance by Federico Tuani who finished in twentieth position, while Ruffini was twenty-seventh. Better in race two, where Tuani was sixteenth and Ruffini finished in twenty-third position.

In the MXGP class Alberto Forato achieved two excellent performances: in race one he was unable to repeat his Saturday start but after a few corners he was close to the top positions, and taking advantage of another rider’s fall he obtained third position, managing to manage it to the entire race and finished third at the checkered flag. In race two once again the start was not the best, and after a few laps Alberto found himself in fifth position. A few laps from the end he was overtaken, but thanks to a mistake by another driver one lap from the end he still ended up in fifth position.

Alberto finishes in fourth position of the day, equal on points with third.

An excellent performance for the Venetian rider who is ready to face the last stage of the MXGP world championship together with the SM ACTION team scheduled for next week in Matterley Basin.
